Hunting for Mistakes * BOBÁK, Sándor vs. me

"2r2rk1/pp2np1p/1q3bp1/3pNb2/3P4/2B4P/PPBR1PP1/1Q3RK1 b - - 0 19"

After White's last 19.Nf3-e5?
it is Black to move

The game was played in the county team championship, on Feb-21, 2010.
I was the second player and missed to win a piece in the position, but still won the game.

Try and guess the move-sequence that would have won the game for Black on the spot. (please write your solution as a comment to this entry)

This was a very nice puzzle. In my view the theme was the x-ray on the bishop on c2. My guess is: 1...Bxe5 (now White have 2.dxe5 and 2.Bxf5) If 2.Bxf5 Nxf5 3.dxe5 d4 winning the bishop on c3 that is trapped. 2.dxe5 d4 (now White have 3.Bxd4, 3.Rxd4) 3.Bxd4 Bxc2 winning. If 3.Rxd4 Bxc2 4.Qxc2 Qxd4 5.Bxd4 Rxc2

Thanks Hóember! Although the x-ray theme was spotted in seconds, and I liked to work on tactics a lot, I took several minutes to found the variations. Very nice position and it was not easy to found in a game. Very nice blog!

I have looked you up in the forum. Thanks for the comment. :)
I am going to make a series of this "thread".

Tomorrow another game, as White.
1.d4. I expect Queen's Gambit Declined Tartakower or Lasker variation or Tarrasch Defence or 1..f5 or the Triangle Defence, 1d4 d5 2Nf3 e6 3c4 c6 4Qc2.
The possoble opponents are not strong positionally, and make unusual mistakes in the opening--all the worse, I will have a hard time deciding on strong still calm continuations.

Perhaps there will be another thread with interesting positions from the sample games of the opening books I am studying. (What title should it be given...?)

A victory again. A horrible move from the opponent (candidate master but blundered badly) So, the blog will have another puzzle tonight. :)

Great news! This thread was very good (I save it on my database) and a series of selected positions could be interesting for training purposes. A title like Middlegame study positions or Middlegame training positions or a special title related to the position or no title at all! :-)
Good luck for the tournament games and congratulations. http://www.chesslive.de/ have a good base of 5 million games.
